The symposium caters to both practitioners and academics. For this purpose, the format of the submissions is divided into two categories, with different submission requirements. Please carefully read the Author Instructions listed here to ensure an accurate submission.

Submission Types

(Case Studies and Practical Experiences)

This category is intended for short papers highlighting practical ideas, real-world cases, and applied achievements.

Authors must submit an extended abstract of at least 2 pages in PDF format. The initial submission should include:

  • Methodology and references

  • A clear summary of the paper's scope, key results, and findings

  • A focus on new advances, theories, and/or applications

  • A descriptive outline of the proposed final paper

The extended abstract should provide enough detail for the Program Committee to assess the originality and practical value of the proposed work.

Final Manuscript Due

Authors of accepted submissions must submit a final manuscript of no more than 3 pages, incorporating reviewer feedback as appropriate.

Formatting & Templates

Use the official IEEE Style Manual and Templates when preparing your manuscript.

Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI Compendex.

Submission Process

All submissions must be made through the EDAS IEEE SysCon 2027 submission portal.

  • Authors may select only one topic area from the Call for Papers. An “Other” category is available if needed.

  • Submissions below the minimum length for their category will be automatically rejected.

  • Submission implies a commitment to register, attend, and present if accepted.

EDAS Submission Instructions

Create an EDAS account (or log in if you already have an account):

  1. Visit the EDAS portal and click "Create a new account".

  2. You need to provide your title, name, email address, status, affiliation and country, and agree to the EDAS privacy policy.

  3. Check the Privacy box and click “Add Person.”

  4. Save your EDAS credentials.

If authors wish to post their papers online, they must include the IEEE copyright notice on the page displaying the material. More details are available here.

Note: Authors submitting papers to SysCon are expected to serve as reviewers.
